School Choice

SCHOOL CHOICE 2022-2023 SCHOOL YEAR
 APRIL 1, 2022- MAY 1, 2022 AT 4:00 PM

This is a public announcement of the Pine Bluff School District .  The district announces participation in the Arkansas Public School Choice Program.  Public school choice in Arkansas allows students to attend a public school in a district other than the one in which they reside. Parents of students who want to enroll their children in another public school will have until May 1 to apply to enroll in the fall under the Arkansas Public School Choice Act.  

As a district classified by the State Board of Education as a district in need of Level 5 – Intensive Support, in accordance with The Opportunity School Choice Act, the parent or guardian, or the student if the student is over eighteen (18) years of age, will have until May 1 to apply to enroll to attend a public school or school district that is not classified as a public school or school district in Level 5 – intensive support.
