Our scholars are ready to show what they know! Testing begins April 13th and continues through May. Let’s make sure our students are:

Please check your scholar’s backpack and homework folder to review their progress. • 3rd Grade ATLAS EOY Preparation Updates: Final letters outlining our plan of support for Level 1 scholars were also sent home yesterday. It is critical that families read this information carefully and understand the urgency as we prepare for success on ATLAS. As we make our final push toward excellence, attendance is key. Being present, on time, and engaged each day makes a significant difference in student achievement. Additionally, as seasons change, we sometimes see shifts in behavior—please take time to have meaningful conversations with your scholars to keep them focused and ready for excellence. Today Broadmoor Elementary School was proud to host the Books & Barbers community initiative, founded by Nikita Richardson-Lowe, Founder of RichKrew Inc. ✂️📚

Under the leadership of Principal Tim Scott and Assistant Principal Teresa Farver, students received free haircuts while also selecting books to take home, promoting both confidence and literacy.

This year marks the 5th year of the Books & Barbers initiative, which continues to positively impact students across Pine Bluff by bringing together barbers, volunteers, and community partners who are committed to supporting our youth.

Thank you to Nikita Richardson-Lowe, RichKrew Inc., the participating barbers, volunteers, and community partners who helped make today a meaningful experience for our Broadmoor students.
