Broadmoor Gentleman’s Club proudly hosted our 1st Annual Dress & Etiquette Christmas Luncheon, and our young gentlemen truly rose to the occasion! Dressed to impress, they practiced professional etiquette, respectful communication, confident introductions, and proper table manners as they celebrated the holiday season. We are incredibly proud of their growth, leadership, and commitment to excellence. This is what it looks like when character meets class at Broadmoor! 🎄🤵🏾♂️✨ #BroadmoorBears #TheeStandard #GentlemansClub #CharacterMatters

Classes will resume January 7, 2026.

This is a reminder and invitation for all of our third-grade parents and guardians to attend our 3rd Grade Promotion Status Meeting on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. right here at Broadmoor Elementary, 1106 South Wisconsin.
This is a mandatory meeting where we’ll review the rules and regulations regarding third-grade promotion and retention, along with our plan of action to support every scholar’s success. During this time, we’ll discuss important updates from the Arkansas Teaching and Learning Assessment System, also known as ATLAS, and provide clarity on what’s required for students to be promoted to fourth grade.
Our goal is to make sure every family understands where their scholar stands academically and what steps we can take together to ensure growth and readiness.
Once again, that’s Tuesday, November 11th, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Broadmoor Elementary. We look forward to seeing all our third-grade families as we continue building our Blueprint for Excellence—because together, we make Broadmoor even better.
Thank you, and we’ll see you soon!

Thanksgiving is almost here, Broadmoor Family! 🦃💙 Our Thanksgiving Food Drive kicked off on November 5 and runs through November 20. We’re asking scholars, families, and staff to donate non-perishable items to help support local families in need this holiday season. The class that donates the most will earn a fun celebration!
Also, don’t forget — Picture Day is Friday, November 7, at Broadmoor Elementary! 📸 Please make sure scholars are present and picture-ready. Let’s show up, give back, and keep building our Blueprint for Excellence together! 🧡

✅ Test-Taking Tips:
• Get a good night’s sleep

As the new school year unfolds, students at Pine Bluff High School are getting a valuable boost thanks to the generosity of the “Culture and Events” team from the Kohler Company in Sheridan, AR. Mr. Jaquan Garner and Ms. Makeyvia Goodwin represented the company and donated fifty backpacks to the school, aiming to support students in need and make a lasting educational impact.
The backpacks, containing school supplies, such as notebooks, pencils, folders, and paper are intended to help alleviate the burden on families and ensure students start the year equipped and confident.
The donation comes at a crucial time, as many families continue to navigate financial challenges. The PBHS Social Workers expressed deep gratitude for the contribution, noting the direct impact it will have on students' academic preparedness and morale.
Pine Bluff High School Principal, Dr. Ronald Laurent, added “This act of kindness will make a meaningful difference for so many of our students. We’re incredibly thankful to Mr. Garner, Ms. Goodwin, and the Kohler Company for stepping up and supporting education in such a tangible way.”
As the new academic year begins, the generosity of community partners stands as a shining example of community spirit and the positive change that can happen when people come together to invest in the future of young learners.

Congratulations James Jones!
