Emergency responders teamed up with Southwood Elementary School to conduct a live Heart Safe Drill focused on emergency response and student safety. 
The Pine Bluff Fire Department and EASI, in partnership with The Simmons Foundation and Arkansas Children’s Foundation, coordinated a realistic drill involving a student experiencing a medical emergency in the cafeteria.
Thanks to teamwork, quick response, and proper training, the scenario resulted in a successful revival demonstration, highlighting the importance of preparedness and collaboration in keeping our scholars safe.
