James Matthews Elementary School will be holding a MANDATORY parent meeting for all 3rd grade families to discuss student promotion and retention expectations, as well as our plan of action to support student success.

It’s time for our annual JMES 12 Days of Christmas Celebration! Beginning December 4th, our scholars and staff will enjoy themed dress-up days leading up to Winter Break. Each day has a fun, festive theme to help us spread joy and cheer throughout the building.
Please review the 12 Days of Christmas Calendar attached to this message so your child knows how to dress each day. Participation is encouraged but optional students may always follow regular dress code if preferred.

🎅 December 4th – Mr. and Mrs. Claus will be flying in on their private helicopter to visit our scholars. We will also be attending UAPB’s Women’s Basketball Game on this day.
